201702_RDTT_LOGOS_ST_JACQUES-01

Following the mythical GR 65, a trail with an almost sacred character, classified as a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site, traveled by tens of thousands of pilgrims every year for centuries past. The Grand Trail of Saint-Jacques goes against the flow of history to finish at the foot of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in Puy-en-Velay. For 110, 74, 48, 35 or 20Km, the Grand Trail of Saint-Jacques offers an authentic “spiritrail” quest in the heart of exceptional natural and historical heritage.
Let yourself be guided and give meaning to your stride.

“Great organization, well supplied support stations, friendly volunteers … in short a great race!”

“A course with magnificent passages and a few long sections (especially at the end). Very nice for a 1st 100Km, even though my lack of training made the end difficult! Great organization, no complaints about the signs (I had to make an effort to go 100m off course), well supplied support stations, friendly volunteers… in short a great race!”

“Every year we design the routes around the famous GR 65, highlighting the natural and historical riches of Gévaudan and Velay”

“We wanted to highlight the legendary pilgrimage trail of Saint Jacques, in collaboration with Extra-Sports and L. Wauquiez, we created the Grand Trail of Saint-Jacques, against the flow of the famous trail, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with an arrival at the foot of the sublime Cathedral of Puy. Every year we design the courses around the famous GR 65, highlighting the natural and historical riches of Gévaudan and Velay.”
