The Chartreuse Trail Festival is a 3-day event in the heart of the Chartreuse mountain range. Runners will be able to discover various landscapes, from ridges with wide panoramic views to the flora of the alpine pastures. Technical routes, steep gradients, single-track and often muddy. With a selection of distances to race over and other activities to enjoy during the three days, there is something for everyone!

Overview:

“It is a race that I found very difficult but with a beautiful natural setting”
“I took part in the Vertical Kilometre and the 42Km challenge. The 42Km is hard, very hard. The mud and the height gain in the first part. During the descent the clouds lifted to allow me to see the beautiful scenery of the surrounding area. It is a race that I found very difficult but with a beautiful natural setting that I am proud to have finished”
Anthony Irrondelle
Winner of the RDTT competition in 2016

“A festive and friendly gathering, where every runner can flourish”
“We wanted to organize a festive and friendly gathering, where every runner can benefit and enjoy. We have designed courses for all types of effort, spread over the various peaks surrounding the village. The idea was to discover new paths, with respect for the mountain environment. We also wanted to have a good spirit to the event and show the friendliness of Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse.”
